Braille Typhlographic Map - size: 700x500mm - TAB495

Large tiflographic board made of hard PVC plastic. Tiflographic plans are especially useful for blind people to quickly orient themselves in an unfamiliar space. The presented board shows an example of a museum plan including inaccessible zones. The PVC base has a white print and the legend, like the building base, is set on silver acrylic with a slight sheen. The walls are marked with matte HIPS plastic and the exhibits with yellow laminate with a distinctly rough texture. For easier identification, the numbering of the exhibitions is highlighted with raised buttons. Stairs and elevators in ADA plastic are placed on contrasting orange acrylic. Other rooms, restrooms and inaccessible areas are concave thanks to the use of engraving and printing. Each point on the board is described in Braille. Braille characters can be clearly felt under the fingertip thanks to the use of professional licensed braille balls hammered using CNC technology. In accordance with PZN recommendations, they are placed at a height of 0.5mm and have a base width of 1.5mm. The board is assembled in-house.
