Health and safety evacuation signs - where should they be placed?
Evacuation signs are the basic signage for any building where people are present, including workplaces, buildings in multi-family housing, schools, universities and public facilities. Their task is to ensure maximum safety for the occupants of the building and to allow quick and efficient evacuation in the event of an emergency, such as a fire.
Depending on the type of signage, evacuation placards should be placed in various places along the evacuation route, that is, primarily in corridors, in passages between rooms and near medical equipment.
