Rubber Braille board with tabs for the blind - yellow - size 600x300 mm - PB001

The Braille rubber plate is a specially designed surface placed on pavements, pedestrian crossings and other public places to help blind people orient themselves in space and increase their safety. The board is made of weather-resistant and non-slip rubber, which is fitted with tabs. The structure of the board consists of tabs with a diameter of 35 mm and a height of 6.5 mm or strips evenly distributed over the surface of the board at intervals of approximately 50 mm. The plate is coloured yellow, as this is the colour best recognised by visually impaired people. Braille plates convey key information such as warnings of an approaching pedestrian crossing, the edge of the pavement or a bus stop. The tactile tabs underfoot also signal a change of surface, so the user can easily recognise important points on the road and navigate safely through public spaces. The rubber Braille board is an extremely important element of urban infrastructure that supports the independence and safety of visually impaired people. The advantage of our plates is that they can be installed without interfering with the existing pavement. A polymer adhesive is recommended for its application on existing concrete or asphalt surfaces.
