Braille Typhlographic Map - size: 700x500mm - TAB487

Large tiflographic board made of hard PVC plastic. Tiflographic plans are especially useful for blind people to quickly orient themselves in an unfamiliar space. The presented board shows an example plan of a university, including buildings and surrounding streets. The PVC base has a wood grain print and the legend is set on black plastic with a slight sheen. The paths around the buildings are marked with matte frosted acrylic and the buildings themselves are convex and made of transparent printed acrylic. The green areas inside the campus are concave and marked in dark green. Each building is marked with convex, curved numbering and Braille. The center punctuation of the board has a convex reference point - north. The name of the university, thanks to the use of multiple layers of printing, is slightly convex and rough. The legend is also detailed in Braille. The Braille characters can be clearly felt under the fingertip thanks to the use of professional licensed braille balls hammered using CNC technology. In accordance with PZN recommendations, they are placed at a height of 0.5mm and have a base width of 1.5mm. The board is assembled in-house.

 

Before implementation, we prepare a design (PDF file) and send it for approval to the indicated e-mail address. At the design stage, you can contact the graphic designer at any time. After accepting the project we proceed to production.
