Typhlographic Plan with Braille Script - Plexi and ADA - Size: 500x380mm - TAB518

A medium-sized tiffographic board made of Plexiglas and ADA plastic. Tiflographic plans are especially useful for blind people to quickly orient themselves in an unfamiliar space. The presented board shows a complete plan of a single floor: the walls of the rooms, stairs and landmarks are made of ADA plastic 1mm recessed to a depth of 0.2mm. The elevator and stairs are a combination of printed acrylic and ADA plastic. The reception counter is marked with black balls and the inaccessible area is clearly milled in acrylic and covered with black print. The plan is detailed in Braille script. The colors used in the design are contrasting, which improves readability for the visually impaired. The UV print used is applied from the back so the content is resistant to abrasion and damage. Braille characters can be clearly felt under the fingertip thanks to the use of professional licensed braille balls hammered in CNC technology. In accordance with PZN recommendations, they are placed at a height of 0.5mm and have a base width of 1.5mm. The whole is mounted to the wall on six aluminum spacers (optional).

 

Before implementation, we prepare a design (PDF file) and send it for approval to the indicated e-mail address. At the design stage, you can contact the graphic designer at any time. After accepting the project we proceed to production.
