A Braille tyflographic plan provides a comprehensive solution to help you easily read how to navigate a space. Our team of specialists is involved in every detail to create plans and maps that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but above all useful for blind and partially sighted people. Each tyflographic plan is customised to meet the individual needs and preferences of the client. The base of the plan is 5 mm thick rigid PVC with UV print. On the right side is 3 mm transparent acrylic in navy blue, which has been printed on the underside. The acrylic extends 2.5 mm above the surface of the base. The walls of the premises and the larger letters are made of 3 mm ADA plastic in white and black. The numerals in the circles are convex because they have been coated with resin (doming). The process of applying the resin darkens the white colour, resulting in an effect similar to a light grey. The plan has been described in detail using Braille. The colours used in the design are contrasting, improving legibility for the visually impaired. The braille characters can be clearly felt under the fingertip, thanks to the use of professional licensed CNC-impressed braille balls. In accordance with PZN recommendations, they are positioned at a height of 0.5 mm and have a base width of 1.5 mm. The entire unit is designed to be self-assembled.
